These Creative Spark sessions with London Metropolitan University are an introduction to the creative process of generation, development and communication of business ideas. Participants will learn how to come up with many different ideas and how to choose the best ones to work on. In subsequent sessions, participants will learn how to develop their customer base, deliver a successful business pitch, and ask questions from real-world entrepreneurs.

About the speaker:
Chris Lane is an academic and visual artist with interests in entrepreneurship and the creative industries. He has worked extensively in the community sector. He was previously course leader for London Metropolitan University's Digital Media Degree and instigated the UK's first ever bachelors programme in Social Media. He was previously an Associate Dean and Head of Partnerships at London Met and currently leads provision in Community Development, Refugee Programmes Social Work and Youth Studies. He has been closely involved with delivery of the Creative Spark programme in Uzbekistan and in developing an international Edition of London Met's Big Idea Challenge for the British Council.
