Online radio station is a field of media that develops rapidly and vividly, and has great prospects in Ukraine as well. A critical component of success in this field is the correct choice of your audience, topics to be covered, and music to be broadcast. Thanks to a possibility of more flexible approach in choosing the format of broadcasting, online stations, unlike their FM counterparts, can choose narrower genres and assemble a community of people with the same tastes and interests around them. How exactly do you do it – will be the focus of the workshop with Tabitha Thorlu-Bangura who works at the London online station NTS Radio, which has a several million-strong audience in 30 cities all over the world.

Gawain is a music technologist and composer at the same time. He has passion for both music and the technological aspect of its creation – including the design of music instruments. For his talent and skills, Hewitt has found a decent application – he designs instruments for disabled people, and helps them to tap their music talents this way. Gawain will talk about his own designs and his company’s work at the presentation.
