Global Short Docs Forum 2019

Global Short Docs Forum (GSDF) is a new initiative connecting filmmakers of documentary shorts with digital platforms.

After receiving an impressive and varied range of applications from every corner of the globe, we are very excited to announce the final 16 filmmakers who have been selected to attend the second edition of the Global Short Docs Forum!

Established as a new initiative to help bridge the gap between digital platforms and filmmakers of documentary shorts, the Forum will guide and mentor this talented group of filmmakers as they take the next steps in their careers.

This year the Global Short Docs Forum will be held in Kyiv, Ukraine in partnership with Docudays UA from 26 – 29 March 2019. Over the course of a 4-day residential workshop, these selected filmmakers will be given the chance to learn from industry experts, build an invaluable global network of like-minded peers, and ultimately pitch their selected projects to commissioners from digital platforms.
