As part of our film programme, we support exchange programming between film festivals in the UK and Ukraine.

Children KinoFest

As part of the British Council Child Protection and EDI (Equality, Diversity, Inclusion) policies, we proudly support this year’s Children KinoFest and bring the UK film to its programme: festival opener, highly acclaimed Zoo – fascinating story  about teenagers who are trying to save animals from the local zoo in Belfast during bombing in 1941. The screening will be accompanied with TIFF transcription (translated video for people with visual impairment).

Children KinoFest – is the international Film Festival for children and teenagers, created for the purpose of education of a new generation of cinema-viewers in Ukraine and development of practices of family cultural avocation and promotion of cinema art. The festival takes place at the end of May and is held in 20 Ukrainian cities.
