Igor Stetsyuk

Igor Stetsiuk is a composer, conductor, professor at the Department of Composition and Music and Information Technology of the Petro Tchaikovsky National Music Academy of Ukraine, professor at the Kyiv National I. K. Karpenko-Kary Theatre, Cinema and Television University.

He is the Merited Artist of Ukraine, winner of the Lesya Ukrainka Prize of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine. Igor Stetsiuk is also a winner in the “BEST ORIGINAL MUSIC / SOUNDTRACK” nomination at the Clearwater Film & Music Festival (USA, 2011). He was recognized as the best film composer of Ukraine in 2011-2015, based on the results of the "Filmed in Ukraine" national competition.

Igor Stetsiuk is the artistic director and chief conductor of the EJO-2012 (EBU, Switzerland - DSI Swinging Europe, Denmark). He is the author of symphonic, chamber, jazz and pop music, as well as music for up to fifty feature, documentary and animated films made in Ukraine, Russia, Germany, France, Italy, and the USA. One of the founders of the national school of electronic music. Since 1996 he has been the musical director of stage and television shows. In 2005 Igor Stetsiuk created the musical design for the Eurovision Song Contest. Besides, he is the author of scientific articles and doing research in the field of electronic sound synthesis.
