Tashkent, 16–17 October 2019
For the first time in Tashkent, we brought together 120 policymakers, researchers, academics, practitioners, and students from eight countries to discuss the important topic of the role of English in higher education and its impact on graduate employability.
Over the two conference days, participants discussed challenges related to the provision of English at universities. As a result, we proposed an action plan together with the conference delegates, which will help tackle these challenges in all eight countries.
