In January 2025, the British Council in Ukraine, in partnership with local NGOs, will organise two face-to-face trainings for young people aged 16–25 as part of the Youth Connect for Ukraine programme in Vinnytsia and Chernihiv. 

From 16 to 19 January, a youth training on the theme Change Management’ will be held in Vinnytsia, jointly organised with the NGOs ‘Harmoniya’ and the Centre for Community Activity ‘Rezultat’. 

Over the course of four days, participants will develop leadership and communication skills, meet leaders from the Vinnytsia community, and engage with successful entrepreneurs, volunteers, and civic activists. They will also take part in a one-day pop-up event featuring an interactive programme and have the opportunity to receive funding up to UAH 20,000 to implement their own social initiatives. 

From 27 to 31 January, the ‘Youth Connect for Ukraine: Resilience in Times of Uncertainty’ training will take place in Chernihiv, organised by the British Council in Ukraine in partnership with the NGO ‘Molodizhna Platforma’.

During this training, participants will develop skills in effective collaboration and leadership, engage in a simulation game, and design a social initiative for their community. Participants will also have the chance to receive funding of up to UAH 20,000 to bring their initiative to life.

We invite young people aged 16-25 from Chernihiv to join this training! You will gain valuable experience in an international project, meet like-minded individuals, and become a driving force for positive change in your community.

Youth Connect for Ukraine aims to support young Ukrainians to lead fulfilling and purposeful lives now, wherever they are living. It aspires to support young people, including women, girls and those from disadvantaged groups affected by the war in Ukraine, to have the skills and motivation to build connections in their local context and influence their own future and their communities.
