Feedback from the participants

"This Summer School has given me a great opportunity to develop. During our discussions I’ve absorbed a lot of great and helpful ideas from my peers." (Trainer Development)

"I received a very valuable experience due to a friendly atmosphere, logical organisation and high professionalism of both the trainer and my colleagues. I still have some worries about my theoretical background. I must work on theory to make my practical work more logical and more efficient. I’ve been encouraged to work hard on my self-development." (Trainer Development)

"I strongly believe that the knowledge I have gained and skills I have developed will be used in my teaching and training practice. I know that I failed with some stages of my micro-training, but the feedback from my peers and the trainer was positive, detailed and constructive. I decided to do my best to get rid of teacher-centeredness and conduct this session again taken into consideration the feedback and comments."(Trainer Development)

"I’ve learned about different approaches in teaching, correlation of aims and outcomes, criteria for effective lesson observation. I will share all the ideas with my colleagues, change my teaching to make it more holistic, throw away all my old lesson plans and start moving from the students’ needs to the learning outcomes." (Trainer Development)

"I’m open to new changes, to challenges, eager to rethink my attitude towards observation and feedback and how to be a friendly observer but not a judgemental one." (Trainer Development)

"I feel I’m full of fresh ideas of how to organise peer observation at the academy where I work. The first thing I’ll do is conduct a workshop for my colleagues and share the ideas gained at the Summer School." (Trainer Development)

"Every class and session was inspiring, self-developing and motivating. It was a great pleasure to meet friendly people with similar views, ideas and creativity." (Trainer Development)

"Theoretical material was brought to the classroom in an exciting way so that everybody was involved in the discussions. The warmers, ice-breakers, fillers, songs and games were amazing. I’ll use these new ideas in my classroom and share them with the teachers of my school."(Primary Essentials)

"The course was useful in terms of systematizing and revising theoretical knowledge. Practice was exciting and engaging." (Primary Essential)

"I’ll take home positive emotions, great mood, and motivation to self-development. I’ve acquired new ideas regarding individual, group and team work which are new for me." (CiSELT)

"I’ve learned about different learning styles, the factors that can motivate me and my colleagues and how to hold effective workshops. I’m happy to meet such smart and friendly people!" (CiSELT)
